On November 21, Bentley University held 2020 Women on Boards National Conversation on Board Diversity. The conversation was “How Can We Help Each Other and Seek Allies to Find a Corporate Board Seat?”
2020WOB is a national education and advocacy campaign devoted to increasing the number of women directors on corporate boards. Since its start in 2010, the group’s namesake goal has been for women to fill 20% of corporate board seats by 2020.
Recently, the group’s goal was exceeded by a whole year, with 20.4% of the board seats on publicly traded companies in the Russell 3,000 Index currently being held by women.
As a proud member of the steering committee, Kristie DeLuca, CPA joined hundreds of other passionate individuals hoping to see an increase of women on corporate boards.
