July 1, 2014 – Chestnut Hill, MA, USA – To recognize the next generation of leaders in the firm, Samet & Company, PC has created a new role at the firm, Director. This is a level between manager and shareholder and involves an increase in responsibility and firm leadership. Samet is pleased to recognize three team members who are being promoted to Director effective July 1:
David Marcus, CPA has shown great dedication to the firm through his efforts in client service in the tax department. In addition, he is consistently mindful of business development, receiving many referrals from his clients, and offers his service as a board member of MS Cure Fund.
Kristie Cotter, CPA is a trusted client advisor and valuable mentor to others in the firm. She was honored by the MSCPA in their Women to Watch award program in 2013, is an active member of the Junior League of Boston, and sits on the board of Inner Explorer.
Paul Flanagan, CPA is working toward two additional certifications in 2014, the CVA and CFE. He has been instrumental in the growth of the litigation support practice of the firm and is respected for his commitment to meeting clients’ needs.
